Ricardo Leano, MD, is a pain management and regenerative medicine specialist at Palm Beach Pain, LLC, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Dr. Leano is committed to alleviating pain and maximizing the mobility and quality of life for his patients with the lightest touch of medicine, with the goal of avoiding all side effects in the process and making life as great as it should be. At Palm Beach Pain, LLC, Dr. Leano provides exceptional care for many common pain conditions, including fibromyalgia, sciatica, arthritis, and lower back pain. He creates personalized treatment plans for each of his patients that take into consideration their culture, beliefs, and preferences, and often uses diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive procedures to alleviate discomfort. Dr. Leano also offers some of the most advanced pain management and healing tools available, including stem cell therapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and ketamine infusion.
After earning his medical degree at Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá, Colombia, Dr. Leano moved to the United States to continue his medical training, earning the equivalent medical degree and completing his internship and his residency training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He also earned a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in health care from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, graduating with an award of merit for academic excellence. He later earned his board certification in health care management.
After spending many years working as an anesthesiologist, Dr. Leano enrolled in an interventional pain management fellowship to further his training and skill set. Dr. Leano is a board-certified anesthesiologist and board- certified pain management specialist.
When Dr. Leano isn’t busy helping his patients get their lives back, he enjoys motorcycles, boats, cars, playing guitar, and listening to classical music. He also strives to give back, volunteering when and where his medical skills are needed and collecting donations to support areas devastated by natural disasters.
